TV Alert — Columbia SHP on History Detectives tonight
In January the History Detectives visited Columbia to learn more about BAKER’S GOLD, a Gold Rush-era drawing of enormous nuggets. That episode begins airing TONIGHT, JULY 5th. Local PBS station KVIE will run it at 9pm and it will repeat on Tuesday at 4pm. Those outside of the Sacramento market should check their local listings for the time and date.

In 2008 Jane Wells of CNBC came to Jamestown to discover gold. This is a dated story, but it was the first one out of the gate and started a worldwide trend.
